imatfaal Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 How does one enter dirac bra kets in Latex? From the net it seemed I should use \ket{00} but this got me a syntax error. BTW - protip: unless you are alone and have some time to kill do not search on latex bra ket
mississippichem Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 (edited) I usually use | \psi \rangle to get [math] | \psi \rangle [/math]. Along similar lines you can use \langle \phi | \psi \rangle giving [math] \langle \phi | \psi \rangle [/math] when you need an inner product. It's cumbersome, but the words "rangle" and "langle" make me smile. Edited August 22, 2013 by mississippichem 3
imatfaal Posted August 23, 2013 Author Posted August 23, 2013 Thanks Mississippi - know what you mean about those two word, I am unlikely to forget them!
Unity+ Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 You can find these types of notation for LaTeX by using this: http://www.codecogs.com/latex/eqneditor.php
