THis is assuming a deterministic view of reality as we know it. That is to say that the world probably wouldn't be the same as we see it now because those figures would not have been around in their respective times to, in effect, create their religions. If these three were never around we could potentially be currently living in a world where polytheism still reigned supreme. There's a lot that can happen over the 2000 years since then and that allows for drastic variations that are, presumably, inconceivable. Think about every decision that every person makes every second of their lives. Now imagine that each of them made the exact opposite choice. The resulting world could be completely different in another 2000 years.
