XephyrXruxible Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 I'm not sure where to post. I'm hoping I'm not breaking any rules by posting here. However, I'm looking for a description/definition of 'plasma' that I can understand. I'm keeping it simple.
ajb Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 A plasma is an ionised gas. In basic terms this is a gas of charged molecules, as where a standard gas comprises of neutral molecules. 1
Ayesha Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 Plasma is the combination of positive ions and free electrons. These electrons are no longer associated with the particular atom because of very high temperature.
