eviolin Posted September 8, 2013 Share Posted September 8, 2013 I was wondering, if a catalase enzyme solution (or an enzyme solution in general) is just left out at room temperature, can that cause the enzyme to not be as effective later on? CharonY Posted September 8, 2013 Share Posted September 8, 2013 Yes, certainly. The enzyme may degrade over time, but that can also happen quite quickly if protease contamination is present.
