It is such a human trait when one hears bad news that - even with only a virtual connexion - the first thing I thought was I wonder if that's where Swansont is based... Glad you are OK and hope the casualty numbers don't get any higher

Good, but keep your head down anyway. It's safer and makes you look busy. Stay safe.

We got a shelter in place announcement, so we hung out in the lab for an hour until the picture cleared up a little. Then back to our offices. But I still can't go outside, and am still in my workout gear, since I was headed to the gym.

Glad as well that you are safe and not immediately affected.

 

Was wondering though, as is the rest of the country, why the man did what he did.

 

Do you have any "inside" dope? Not hard facts of course, but peices of information you might be privy to, through IT connections, that would help the rest of us guide our speculations away from unlikely things and towards more actually possible motives and mind set?
