Year 1 College Calc ?s

I am stuck in the eigth circle of hell, also known as Pre-calc. I got some calc books (& Organic Chem ) books from the library, but I wanted to know if anyone has used any good year-1 calc books or knows the ones they use at prestigious universities. The one I have now is the one that MIT uses for its year-1 calc students.

speaking of MIT...

 

they have course notes on line. so they should have some notes from 18.01(that's calc in MIT talk:-p ). you may find that helpful. i sure did when i took it

Do you go to UWmadison?

Thats where I plan on going(possibly), since I live in the same state as you(Wisconsin). Thanks for the info. I will check it out.
