Phospholipid Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 Question. Can anyone please give me a clue on how to calcuate molarity given its termperature and its density? Much appreciated.
pulkit Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 Density will give you amount of compound present plus water in 1 cc. From temperature you can know density of water, subtracting this you will know amt of compount per unit volume. Multiply by appropriate factor (molecular weight) to get an estimate of molarity.
