John Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 (edited) It seems like you just need to plug in the value they give you for each letter and simplify. For instance, if they give you something like 9 + a and tell you a = 3, then you'll plug in 3 for a, giving you 9 + 3, which equals 12.
