Guest murad_math Posted April 5, 2003 Posted April 5, 2003 dear frinds i have some questions in electromagnetism and want ur help in answering them 1) in RL circuits as u close the switch the back or induced emf is a maximum value then it starts to decrease why theis happens? from the physical point of view 2)what is the physical explanation of faradays law of induction 3)what is the physical explanation of lenzs law

That means that the induced EMF has opposite polarity to that of the battery. This reflects the physical fact that an inductor always works against changes in magnetic flux. So, in a sense the inductor is pushing the current, causing (di/dt) to shrink. 2)what is the physical explanation of faradays law of induction 3)what is the physical explanation of lenzs law I don't really like doing people's homework for them. Can you try to start the discussion, and I will help you through the rough spots? Tom
