G Bronson Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Sorry for being random and dumb, I don't know if this is the best place for this but if anyone could point me in the right direction that would be cool. I have had some weird feelings of pressure and whatnot in my head correlated with memory loss and anxiety stemming from some medication complications I took around four or five years ago. I don't have a gen physician per se any more, and don't want to go through the hassle of getting one, then getting a recommendation for a specialist and then getting an mri, then going back, (partly I'm worried about having something like this on my medical record for some reason, partly $$$)-- so I'm thinking about just going to this place that does MRIs, paying cash, and then, I don't know, putting the results on the internet, or just mailing them to specialists or something, and being like "I'll give you money if you tell me if somethings wrong with me". Is this dumb? Would an MRI tell me if I had an anneurism or something? I had a catscan not long after my medication interaction and it came back clear -- is an MRI pointless? Again, sorry if this is a waste of time.

hypervalent_iodine Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 ! Moderator Note The right direction in this case would be to go and see a doctor (as noted by Moontanman). We do not give out medical advice here.
