Delbert Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Following an automatic update to IE 11 I found the Quote and MultiQuote functions didn't work. Upon reverting back to IE 10 they now work okay. Searching the internet it seems a not uncommon consequence of IE 11.
StringJunky Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 I reverted to IE10 because 11 was too buggy.
Lightmeow Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Why don't you use a browser that is not IE. IE takes up a lot of RAM, and if you switched then your computer would also run faster. If you like IE, just keep using 10 until they make a better version...

Delbert Posted December 20, 2013 Author Posted December 20, 2013 Why don't you use a browser that is not IE. Laziness.
mathematic Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 If you want an IE like browser I recommend Avant. It has a nicer front end. It can be used as a front end for IE, Firefox, or Chrome.
PeterJ Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Are there any problems associated with changing browsers? IE 11 will not let my view my sales data on my distributor's site (utterly ridiculous) but I've never changed browsers before. Can I just download Firefox and set it as default and expect it all to go without a hitch?
StringJunky Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 (edited) Try Firefox and Chrome, flitting between all three, and see which one you like. You can have as many as you like. There shouldn't be any problems they act just like any other program. You can easily uninstall the ones you don't want after. To try and fix it in IE11, click Alt key > Tools > Compatibility Settings > Copy/paste site URL into the box > Click Add > Close.. See if that brings up the sales data. PeterJ Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Thanks. I'll give it a go. Let's hope sod's law has exceptions.
studiot Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 (edited) What happens if you use Internet Explorer (No add ons) version? All Programs > Accessories > System tools > IE(No add ons) Edited January 2, 2014 by studiot
PeterJ Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Thanks, but it made no difference. I'll try another browser.
StringJunky Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 In Chrome, Settings is in the 3-bar icon to the top right. You can enable the bookmarks bar, show home button and set home page there which are not showing by default..
