Rajnish Kaushik Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 I had this taught many times please reply and help me
EdEarl Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 No one knows how life started, and there is a possibility it started elsewhere and came to Earth on a comet, see Panspermia. 2
Rajnish Kaushik Posted January 1, 2014 Author Posted January 1, 2014 but how life camed on that comet??
EdEarl Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 (edited) but how life camed on that comet?? Read the panspermia link. Scientists have found a 500,000 year old bacteria living in the arctic, which is similar to conditions on a comet. Edited January 1, 2014 by EdEarl
Moontanman Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Panspermia is not exactly mainstream science. Here is a link to get you started... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abiogenesis

Rajnish Kaushik Posted January 2, 2014 Author Posted January 2, 2014 God made man And animals were made for man Got to love good old religion. Do u beleave in god ???????????
swansont Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 ! Moderator Note This is not the religion section, so leave deities out of the discussion. 1
Endy0816 Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Something came to exist that was capable of imperfectly duplicating itself. At that point the process met the most basic definition of life. Eat, reproduce, create waste. It proceeded to evolve into Life as we know it today. The how and the why are open questions. The Abiogenesis link above gives a decent overview of present theories.
Moontanman Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Any simpler explations No, there are some nice videos on you tube that tries to illustrate this visually but it is not simple...
Rajnish Kaushik Posted January 3, 2014 Author Posted January 3, 2014 ! Moderator Note This is not the religion section, so leave deities out of the discussion. r u admin or staff?? since u interfare in topics which we are dissucing and ii dont think that its good indeed -1
EdEarl Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 (edited) Swansont is a moderator of this forum and thus part of the staff. It says so beneath his picture on the right of the page. Edited January 3, 2014 by EdEarl
Endy0816 Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Yeah, would just need to make a separate thread over in the Religion section if you want to discuss deity involvement. A thread in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology section suggests a pretty specific intent.
swansont Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 r u admin or staff?? since u interfare in topics which we are dissucing and ii dont think that its good indeed ! Moderator Note I am a moderator, as the tag on my post said (moderator note), and as Ed Earl points out, it says that I'm on staff and a moderator under my avatar. Religion is off-topic in this section. It is a discussion related to biology. 1
hypervalent_iodine Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 ! Moderator Note Davidjayjordan, do not hijack discussion with off topic posts and soap boxing. I have removed your posts and their replies to the trash. ! Moderator Note Moontanman, I know the temptation is almost too much, but it would be appreciated if you could hold back from responding to these sorts of posts as it derails the thread further. Just report it and move on in future. 1
Rajnish Kaushik Posted January 5, 2014 Author Posted January 5, 2014 which is main and most modern branch of chemistry??
