The thing is, it's exceedingly short-sighted to think that unfettered speech, everywhere and 24/7, could be reasonable. It's not a matter of not wanting it to exist, it simply can't. For the simple reason that there is more than one person in the world. Anyone who advances the notion that any sort of infringement — by anyone — is bad, is tacitly declaring that their right to free speech trumps everyone else's rights, including their right to free speech. If you think that the right is universal, then that means I have the right to stand next to you and speak louder than you, all the time, so that you can't be heard. To limit me in doing so would then be a violation of my universal right to free speech. So such a right is a logical impossibility; one must accept that there limits to free speech in any rational discussion.
