hasanmoukalled Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Hello there! I love physics, and I am 16; I don't have the full background of theoretical and quantum physics. So every time I read about a theory, I go and ask my physics teacher and he tries to explain it simple enough for me to understand it since we (as a class) didn't yet start with modern physics. So he told me if I want to understand such theories I must read about the exchange between matter and energy. So can anyone help me to find a PDF about it? Thanks!
ajb Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Google terms like mass defect, binding energy, nuclear fission, nuclear fusion...

CaptainPanic Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Perhaps you were looking for the Mass-energy equivalence? It is not a .pdf, but this link should contain some information for a beginner. (Why do you insist on a .pdf anyway, instead of just any document).

Hehe I feel more comfortable using PDFs, easier to print.

cathyhill Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 (edited) I think maybe you can ask your teacher to recommend some related books for you. Then you can google to see whether there is some PDF versions. <link removed by mod> Edited March 27, 2014 by imatfaal
davidivad Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 (edited) try advanced google search. it gives you the option of file type. or simply add filetype:pdf to your google search. example: mass defect filetype:pdf Edited March 28, 2014 by davidivad
timo Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Thank you! Hehe I feel more comfortable using PDFs, easier to print. You can PDFify it (and combine with other articles) using the Wikipedia book creator: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Book&bookcmd=book_creator
