Hi everybody,

I have a quick question: What is the difference between the Group D Strep and Enterococci? Are they the same thing?

Partially. Most group Ds were found to be enterococci, but there are exceptions. Streptococcus bovis is a true Group D Streptococcus, for example. Quite an annoying classification scheme and somewhat outdated imo...

edit: emphasized that S. bovis is but one example
