You are interpreting it as 36/[6(2+ 2+ 2)]= 36/[(6)(6)= 36/36= 1. Others are interpreting it as (36/6)(2+ 2+ 2)= (6)(6)= 36.

In fact, the original "36/6(2+ 2+ 2)" is just badly written- it is ambiguous and the standard "PEMDAS" or "BODMAS" does not clarify it.

36 / 6(2+2+2) = ??

What is the right answer?? 1 or 32 ??

My friend told me,

"use BODMAS..

==> 36/6*6

==> 6*6= 36 "

I think, answer may be like this.

(36/6)*(2+2+2) = 06*(2+2+2) = 06*(2+4) = 06*6 = 036 = 0
