Guest spoon69 Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 Hi can any help me with this question i have to do by tomorrow, i would be very greatfull. A cylinder of helium has a volume of 600cm3 (cubed). The cylinder contains 200g of helium at a temperature of 25*C (degrees Celcius).Determine the pressure of the helium if the characteristic gas constant for helium is 2080 J/(kg K).
The Rebel Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 If the gas characteristic is 2080J/(kg K), then 200g must contain 416J / K. Then you can use pV = kT
