Popcorn Sutton Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 I like the idea. It would be strange and cool to see an extremely complex science channel show.
hypervalent_iodine Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 ! Moderator Note Popcorn, could you please expand a bit more on your OP? What specifically are you trying to discuss here?
Popcorn Sutton Posted March 25, 2014 Author Posted March 25, 2014 Something that entirely explains something else. Like an episode that fully discusses how the weather became like it was or will be while involving every detail about all factors.
hypervalent_iodine Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 ! Moderator Note So do you have some sort of hypothesis, or does this not belong in Speculations?
Popcorn Sutton Posted March 25, 2014 Author Posted March 25, 2014 Maybe it's best in the lounge for now
davidivad Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 (edited) I have to agree with Popcorn. today's science flicks are not caught up with the amount of information overload that leaves people staggering away from thier I-phones and internet connections. someone needs to turn these housecats into tigers that bite you in the #$% and send you away preferring a spanking. basicly, today's requirement for content is much greater. our audience expects more. i might even go for a reality series with scientists. example: ted is feverishly working against the clock with his rivals doing some pointless experiment he can't find funding for. his latest stride ahead of the competition lands him a seat with the local campus think tank. his first visit is made akward as amongst the tea and buiscut conversation he breaks out a flask. he makes an immediate friend who runs his department but a hopeful sponsor ends up breaking a ten year sobriety. .... we need to also show the human side of science so that people can socially relate.
