Essay Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 It might help to stop thinking of them as living things, and just think about them as packets of minerals, or metals, salts, carbon, nitrogen, and the other elements that are concentrated by living things. What are they doing to their habitat? Then try to answer your main question.
