Gas Chromatography vs refractive index results?

Considering that both analytical methods should be accurate to within 1% for the major component, do the results of the two methods agree? Explain in two sentences or less. If they do not agree, give a plausible explanation.

my GC results
Fraction 1 = 92.7% EtOAc 7.29% 1-BuOH
Fraction 2 = 58.6% EtOAc 41.4% 1-BuOH
Fraction 3 = 3.76% EtOAc 96.2% 1-BuOH

RI results
Fraction 1 = 87.5% EtOAc 12.5% 1-BuOH
Fraction 2 = 49.5% EtOAc 50.5% 1-BuOH
Fraction 3 = 2.5% EtOAc 97.5% 1-BuOH
