Villon Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Attila Csige R&D Engineer Apr. 18. 2014 4025 Linus Way, Carmichael, CA 95608 916-265-3653 Cell: 916-340-4814 Email: mc2inv@gmail.com Dear Sir/Madam. I am looking for two materials, first of all, I would like to know, under what name can I find them in the US and where can I purchase them. These two materials are being used to produce rammed graphite mold and for making carbon brush for electric motors. These materials are the follows: 1./ Coal tar pitch, binding pitch/impregnation pitch/bituminous pitch. This is essentially finely ground bitumen/petroleum extract. 2./ Dispersing agent/wetting agent/deflocculant, for example Darwan 7 used mostly in the ceramic industry, but I am not sure, if it is appropriate for graphite dust as well. This material promotes the wetting of the graphite dust, which is widely known to be “almost unwettable” by water. To summarize my request: I would like to know under what names can I find above materials in the US and where can I purchase them. Thank you very much in advance for your kind assistance in solving my problem. Very truly yours: Attila Csige R&D Engineer
