Hi,

We have been looking at LDH isoenzymes with electrophoresis and in situ staining with a cellulose acetate strip in class and I've been a little confused... My results indicate levels as expected for the tissues, except for the kidney. The kidney seemed to be high in LDH-1 (and progressively less towards LDH-5), but it is supposed to be high in LDH-4. Is there a reason that this could be, or am I reading the results completely wrong?

I hope the question made sense, I am still trying to wrap my head around this.

Thank you
