Camera trap management: SD card holder

I am currently working on a small camera trap project, and was reordering supplies for the upcoming field season. I had an issue with SD card mismanagement last year, and wanted to buy a SD card holder case for them.

I work in the temperate deciduous forests of eastern North America.

What cases have been the most effective?

I was wondering the difference between a soft case and a hard-plastic case. If the soft case remains in a book bag, would it be suitable? Or is a more durable case necessary?

i would probably go with a soft case but this is only a preference of grasp. i have found that out in the field you deal with moisture, mud, and various lighting conditions to work in. there is nothing worse than sitting next to a stream and having a plastic case fly out of your hands. the soft kind seems easier to grasp and hold onto in varying conditions. plastic only takes one misgrab and it has gone on it's own trip.

what are you trying to get pictures of?
