sunshaker Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 (edited) I had a thought that our universe was in free fall, Similar to when we see astronauts practicing zero g in a diving plane, http://science.howstuffworks.com/zero-g1.htm I thought we may then be able to work out how fast the universe is travelling if we could work out the mass of our universe, And what speed would be needed for that amount of mass to produce zero g within its own falling bubble. PLANE=UNIVERSE in a bottle/bubble ASTRONAUTS=MASS OF UNIVERSE. Only an idea. Edited May 24, 2014 by sunshaker
StringJunky Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 What do you think it might be falling towards? Well, there's a lot of turtles down there. 3
Ophiolite Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Well, there's a lot of turtles down there. Nice one!
sunshaker Posted May 24, 2014 Author Posted May 24, 2014 Well, there's a lot of turtles down there. It may well be turtles But as "I" believe our universe to be an Electron, I believe we are "falling towards the next electron shell".
