This link led to a discussion of time dilation and gravity.

 

My understanding is that time dilation is an effect of gravity that is only observable to an outside observer. Is my understanding wrong?

 

Would my having a better understanding of time dilation convince me that gravity is not a force that would more aptly (apply) to gravitons?
