Total NPP for Ecosystem Types

I was wondering whether anyone could help me. I have to answer the following question. I know that I'm probably missing a really simple calculation but I am struggling.

 

Ecosystem Type- Desert Scrub

Surface Area (10⁶ km ²) 19.80

Mean Plant Biomass (kgC m^-2) 0.175

Total Plant Biomass (10¹² kgC) 3.47

Mean NPP (kgC m^-2 yr^-1) 0.032

Total NPP (10¹²kgC yr^-1) ?

 

I need to work out the total NPP

Do you follow how they arrived at the 3.47 number for Total Plant Biomass ...from using Total surface area along with Mean plant biomass?

Could you use the same pattern to find Total NPP?
