burgess Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 If more lamps are connected in series, what happens to the current in the power source? decreases or increases and why? please explain in detail Thanks in advance
Ophiolite Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 This sounds like a homework question. If it is, members will be happy to help you if you show you have made some attempt to answer it. For example, what equation or equations might be relevant to the problem?
Nicholas Kang Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 It did sound like a homework question. And I am learning it in my school. My teacher taught us Chapter 7-Electricity and your question is part of my teacher`s explanation. Since Mr. Ophiolite wanted you to try it out first, why don`t you try some equations out and we can help you. (Maybe not me but Mr. Ophiolite)
studiot Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Even if you can't do the problem, you could tell us what you understand by adding more lamps in series. You might also like to think about what happens to the power source voltage when you add lamps. Remember voltage and current are connected by someone 's law.
