Neugierigerwissenschaftler Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 It seems as if places that have information on enzymes and proteins tend to only tell you the ribbon structure and not tell you what atoms they are made up of or how those atoms connect to each other. That is what I am truly interested in studying. In particular I am trying to find information on the molecular structures of Tyrosine Hydroxylase and Aromatic L-amino acid decarboxylase. Any information would be helpful.
John Cuthber Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 If you look for amino acid sequences you might find them and you can work out the atoms from that http://www.pnas.org/content/82/2/617.full.pdf though I can't see what use this will be for you.
CharonY Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 I am not sure what you want precisely, but experimentally resolved protein structure are typically found e.g. in the RCSB protein data bank.
