Hello all,

Remember how you got into sky observation?

What was the key trigger to get you going? How did you develop this curiosity?

Kiwaka is a digital project to stimulate the younger ones interest in sky observation and Astronomy.

We understand that the digital world became quite attractive, specially for children, now spending a significant part of their time focusing on a task happening on a screen. Acknowledging this tendency but at the same time trying to shift into an educational purpose, we built an educational game named Kiwaka, available for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, aiming to develop childrens interest in this scientific field.

Based on the concept of tangential learning, our goal is to use a gaming experience and structure to introduce the younger ones to this topic.

We collaborated with the European Space Agency (ESA), the European Southern Observatory (ESO) and other leading scientific organizations to display 120 stunning space images, as well as external links to further explore the cosmos, and we also included several videos to assist younger users in finding and identifying important stars and constellations in the sky.

Based on your significant experience in this area, we would like to ask for your feedback, your opinion on the potential of this project, on its ability to spark childrens curiosity and challenge them to stargaze. Will it do the trick?

We made this app free (for a limited time) specifically to solicit feedback and encourage more users to try it and let us know how the experience was.

You can find Kiwaka on the

And watch the Video Trailer on

Look forward to getting your feedback.

Thank you for your time and support.

Felix
