petrushka.googol Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 Does the cosmic microwave background interact with a person's biomagnetic field? Does this have a perceptible effect on the human aura and can we perceive it (through measurements)?
fiveworlds Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 (edited) Yes though the human aura is actually a bio-electromagnetic field http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bioelectromagnetics http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Background_radiation Radiation in high does is really bad. John Cuthber Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 It's difficult to see how Fiveworlds could think that picture was relevant unless it's because he has no idea what he is talking about. Also, there is no evidence for humans having an aura so it's impossible to measure any interaction it might have. If you look carefully, you will see that the 2 wiki pages he cited don't actually mention "aura". It's a bit like asking "What is the effect of the microwave background on unicorns?"
swansont Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 The CMB is tiny compared to background radiation from other sources. It took a radio telescope, designed to shield against terrestrial sources of radiation, to measure it in the 1960s.
