loloz123 Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 A 0.160 kg ball attached to a light cord is swung in a vertical circle of radius 70.0 cm. At the top of the swing, the speed of the ball is 3.26 m/s. The centre of the circle is 1.50 m above the floor. Calculate the speed of the ball when the cord is 30.0̊ below the horizontal.
swansont Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Looks like homework. What have you done so far to get the answer?
studiot Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 At least tell us why you (or the questioner) think the velocity is different at the top of the circle and 30 below the horizontal. If you think the velocity is different what is different about them?
