I know no one knows this for sure, but I have read that it is possible that matter is given to objects by higgs boson particles and that gravity could actually be a particle called a gravitron? How exactly does the whole forces might be particle theory work?

Brief explanation Higgs boson particles do not give mass to matter, it is the Higgs Boson field that is in non-zero energy level that give mass. What is gravity? You must understand modern physics. It comprises 3 main theories-Einstein`s General Theory of Relativity, Special Theory of Relativity and Max Planck and his colleagues Quantum Mechanics. Einstein`s GR and SR state that gravity is the warping of space-time continuum by a mass-energy according to tensor(s) (iirc, Ricci Tensor). QM states that force is formed when 2 particles exchange packets of quanta. Each quanta has its own name. Now, you must understand the 4 fundamental forces in the nature. First is Strong nuclear force, its quantum(a) is gluon, strong nuclear force keeps the Sun shine and only act upon Nucleon like neutron(s) and proton(s). Weak nuclear force determine the radioactive decays of unstable radioisotopes, used in modern technology like PET(positron emission topography) which involves positron, the antielectron/anti matter of electron. The quanta are w+, w- boson and a neutral z boson. Electromagnetic wave is the most famous of all. its quanta is photons. But for gravity, it is different. Physicists try to use the Feynman Diagram in quantum mechanics to solve the equations for gravity, they meet problems. If I recalled correctly, it involves maths calculations. You should ask ajb or Mr. Andrew to solve your answer. The current proposed quantum(a) is graviton which has a spin value of 2. Yet, it hasn`t been detected by particle accelerators so far whereas other has been detected decades ago. Both QM, GR and SR aren`t wrong but incomplete, according to Strange(a member in this forum). Scientists are working out the final theory that would unite all 3 theories, sometimes known as The Theory of Everything. Enjoy! We have a very successful explanation of gravity as the curvature of space-time. I have read that it is possible that matter is given to objects by higgs boson particles Just a minor correction: it is mass that is given to some particles by the Higgs field. But that is not the main source of the mass of the matter around us (that mainly comes from the energy holding the neutrons and protons together). and that gravity could actually be a particle called a gravitron? The graviton is just an idea. No one yet know how to describe gravity in terms of particle interactions. It may not be possible.
