Janus Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 It means that when we measure the temperature of the CMB, it is warmer in one direction and cooler in the other. This is due to blue and red shift in the CMB due to our movement with respect to the CMB "rest frame"(the frame where the temp is the same in all directions). 1
