nygrd83 Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Calculate the volumes of the stocks needed to fill 6 wells with different condition to try to grow Lysozyme crystals. Crystallization solutions should be 3 ml total and contain 100mM NaAc(pH4.8), 0-20% NaCl, 0-25% EG. Make from stocks provide below a. Sodium Acetate (NaAc) MW. 82.03g/mol STOCK= 1M (pH 4.8) b. Sodium Chloride (NaCl) MW. 58.443 g/mol STOCK= 20% c. Ethylene Glycol (EG) STOCK= 100% I know this seems like a lot, but im lost in the sauce here, have to clue how to do this???/
For Prose Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Which part do you not understand? There are quite a few things you will have to do, such as manipulate different concentrations of each to grow Lysozyme crystals...
