Marshalscienceguy
For someone who has not been in school for awhile whats a good way to review before you do the entrance exam and how would you go about transferring to a college in another state or city if you do not have a job in that city/state and dont get much money for schooling but cant find the degree you want at local college? Oceans11
To review for an entrance exam, I would get a work book that is related to that exam. If you ask the college about the entrance exam they will tell you what information you will need to brush up on (such as math and english). Khan academy may be a good place to start if working online fits you better. To transfer to another college in a different city should not make much of a difference cost wise. Maybe an out of county fee. All tuition rates should be on their website or you can call. To make sure classes transfer, use an online database (the college can tell you what they use) Artsys is an example. In another state, tuition rates are generally higher but the process is the same. Just inquire about how to find out which courses will transfer so that time is not wasted. Depending on the degree you are interested in, sometimes a lot of prep classes can be taken at a local college and applied to another school. If you do not get much money for schooling, it may just take longer to complete. Community colleges also offer some online programs.
