MulderMan Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 How is hydrochloric acid produced in your stomach? Ive always wondered this.
Cyanide Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 I believe HCl is produced in the stomach by means of using chloride (Cl-) and hydrogen (H+) from the blood itself. Obviously in order to obtain any (Cl-) from the blood, salt intake is vital. It's been awhile since I had biology...but I think that's correct.
