FVT Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 Hello This is my very first time in using a forum and I just want to say a kind hello to everybody. My Questions are: What are Infinite Arrays? What are Layer Lattices? and What are Network Lattices? Thank you for your help Oh dear, This is certainly inorganic chem. I know a little bit. Network Lattices example is structure of diamond. Some characteristics of Network lattice is that creates hard (VERY HARD) structures like Diamond. Layer Lattice - Graphite is an example ???? I am not sure of infinite array. This is definitely Inorganic Stuff. I almost forgot all of my inorganic stuff. Here is a link (.pdf) I hope this helps you out. http://employees.oneonta.edu/kotzjc/POWERPOINT/Ch13_Solids.pdf If you want more help, ask.
