AndresKiani Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 I have to also admit I've never taken Calculus level math. Though I'm concurrently going to take College Physics (Thank God I finally manage to take it) and Calculus 1 together. I'm a little worried, should I be? I've never taken a Calculus class and this will be my first Physics class.
elfmotat Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 https://www.khanacademy.org/math/differential-calculus Trust me. Watch through a few of those videos and you'll do fine. 5
AndresKiani Posted January 10, 2015 Author Posted January 10, 2015 Thank you. I'm getting into those videos. I'll also definitely turn to you guys for further understanding.
studiot Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Get a hold of The Chemistry Maths Book Erich Steiner Oxford University Press. This is easier than maths for physics but will take you a long way towards what you need. There are several editions, you don't need a new copy, pretty well any version will do. 1
ajb Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 With a little effort you will catch up with how to use calculus in physics.
andrewcellini Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 https://www.khanacademy.org/math/differential-calculus Trust me. Watch through a few of those videos and you'll do fine. second that, khan also offers exercises in math that you can do if you make an account.
