Moontanman Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Is it possible to have a mercury plasma cooled down to the point it becomes a superconductor?
John Cuthber Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Yes, but it won't be a plasma any more. If you cool the mercury plasma down it will condense then freeze. If you keep cooling the solid mercury it will become a superconductor. 1
