Basic Biology
Hey everyone, I'm not a physicist by any stretch but was wondering about this this morning. If an object has a higher density than water, will it sink if there is zero gravity? I'm mostly just curious about the effects of gravity in water. dimreepr
'Sink' has no meaning in zero gravity.
Reaper79
Would oil separate itself from water in in a bottle while in zero G?
Fuzzwood
Separate? Yes, but the oil wouldn't neccesarily form a single layer. It can just as easily remain suspended as droplets in the water.
swansont
Here's what happens when you put a camera in water in microgravity And here's what happens when you put an air bubble inside of a blob of water (and then water inside of that)
