the Festival of Dolphinity

Dear all,

We're looking for innovative scientific projects and inventions to be presented in the Dolphinity World Festival.

Dolphinity for us is a way of life and a worldview based on integrity, awareness and joy.

Formally the Festival will be dedicated to cetaceans, but in large terms – to consciousness and life in general.

We develop the Festival of Dolphinity as a scientific forum, a creative contest, and an international fiesta all at once. It is a unique cultural event as well as a continual project: an international community, a year-round research and information centre, an experimental base for new vivid transformational projects – a global practice of direct interaction between human beings and the Universe.

The Festival will take place at Los Gigantes, Tenerife, Canary Islands on the 24-28 of June, 2015.

The Festival team selects projects in accordance with its own sense of novelty, liveliness and meaningfulness, and is guided not only by professional criteria related to any particular area, but primarily by the perceivable evidence of dolphinity in the material presented to it.
The most interesting projects will be acknowledged by special prizes, including a Grand Prix.

The key idea of the Festival is not that of a contest (its approach excludes competition among the participants), but of gathering, consolidation of the participants’ ideas, products and resources.

The subject of study could be:

- scientific investigations, experiments, hypotheses, discoveries
- information and publications (books, websites)
- social projects, communities and organizations, initiatives
- art projects (films, music, installations, pieces of theatre, performances, exhibitions)
- education, training, and development programs

- entertainment
- new technologies
