A lot of the vehicles on the road get under 20 mpg in actual use.

 

Ownership of that one is by invitation only.

 

Can anyone here translate 986 brake horsepower and a vehicle weight estimate into how fast that thing could go 0-60mph straight up - vertical climb?

If the wiki page is right it is 1395 kg in mass and we probably need a few SI units

The weight is 13685 N

60 mph is 26.8 m/s

The power is 735KW

 

I will leave the calculation as an exercise for the interested reader.

Not where I live. I have a pretty standard hatch and average 50 mpg. My dad has a 4wd and gets closer to 35. This is really veering off topic though.
