matinjanin Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 The pairwise map distances for four linked genes are as follows: A-B = 14 m.u., B-C = 30 m.u., C-D = 34 m.u., B-D = 4 m.u., A-D = 18 m.u., A-C = 16 m.u. What is the order of these four genes? Choose one of the alternatives below. A) ABCD B) ADBC C) CBDA D) BADC E) CADB F) BACD G) DABC H) DBAC I) BDCA J) DBCA K) None of the above
GeneralDadmission Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 (edited) DBCA Thought I'd just test my code-breaker vision on it. Did it work? Edited February 26, 2015 by GeneralDadmission -1
GeneralDadmission Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 (edited) I got a super-spy kit out of an X-Men mag. They've moved on from x-ray specs. If you were looking for a homework answer I'm sorry to bother you. I thought it might have been a challenge for a moment. Edited February 26, 2015 by GeneralDadmission -1
hypervalent_iodine Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 ! Moderator Note matinjanin, please stop posting your homework questions on this forum and expecting people to give you the answer. We will not help you if you can't tell us specifically where you are stuck and show a bit of effort.

Fuzzwood Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 They are still school problems, are they not? Ergo. they are homework.
matinjanin Posted February 26, 2015 Author Posted February 26, 2015 it is not homework, homework is what your teacher gives you, this is something i googled!!
hypervalent_iodine Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Regardless, it helps you in no way for people to give you the answer. If you want hints, tell us where you are stuck; otherwise whatever we say might not be useful to you. 1
Phi for All Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 im not looking for answers! I am looking for hints because i do not know how to solve it We're looking for a way to give you a hint but don't know where the question becomes difficult for you. We don't want to flood you with information you already know, we don't want to tell you the answer, and we don't want to give you a hint that falls short of helping you understand how to answer the question.
Robittybob1 Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 it is not homework, homework is what your teacher gives you, this is something i googled!! Show us the link please?
