Mordred Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 (edited) Looking for recommended articles covering how the Pati-Salam integrates into the SO(10) model. In particular covering the orthogonal group integration. I've found numerous articles on each seperately but would like to study the integration. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pati%E2%80%93Salam_model http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/SO(10)_(physics) The second link has it in a subgroup Most likely the details I'm looking for is articles giving a better understanding on the Pati-Salam left and right hand symmetry Just a side note if anyone knows of any good papers on Pati-Salam with regards to diquarks (if any, please add that as well) http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diquark I've never come across any papers correlations of SO(10) in regards to diquarks so would like to do some research into that aspect (Peer reviewed material or dissertations only please) I know tall request but might get lucky lol Edited March 4, 2015 by Mordred

ajb Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Bump... goes the weasel. Guess this topic doesn't catch too many ppl. It is too technical for most of us.
StringJunky Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 It is too technical for most of us. Now that's something I thought I'd never read you posting. Is it out of your zone?
ajb Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Now that's something I thought I'd never read you posting. Is it out of your zone? It is outside of my area of expertise. The best I could do is search the arXiv and databases of published papers; Mordred has done that already. I can offer no specialist advice on this particular topic.
imatfaal Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 I was so hopeful that someone would post a sensible answer to Mordred's OP - but I fear that it is beyond the ken of most of us. Those members who really understand the question also understand that they don't have the knowledge/expertise to respond.
Mordred Posted March 12, 2015 Author Posted March 12, 2015 (edited) That's Ok I just located the information I was looking for, sometimes it's in how you define your Google search. SO(10) A La Pati-Salam http://arxiv.org/pdf/hep-ph/0204097 Another helpful article is this gem The Phenomenology of Right Handed Neutrinos http://arxiv.org/abs/1303.6912 With the various dissertations and odds on SO(10) I have the details I'm looking for. I'll hunt down diquarks later on after I study what I have. Edited March 12, 2015 by Mordred
