petrushka.googol Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Would it be possible to represent force vectors at the event horizon of a black hole ? Whirlpool type / Waterfall type / Pyramidal type etc. Is there some discrete force field distortion that occurs at the event horizon ? Or is it an abstraction ?
ajb Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 You mean something like tangent vectors to the geodesics or maybe just the geodesics themselves? Either way, I think this would be okay, you might have to be careful with the choice of coordinates that's all.
