acsinuk
The magnoflux spin effect is a new physics explanation of how a magnetic field will spin if activated by a voltage at right angles to that field. In classical physics the ions would be attracted straight toward the anode or cathode but the magnoflux spin effect as demonstrated in the salt water cell shows that the deflection is accompanied by an extra un-accounted for spin. swansont
In what way is this inconsistent with the Lorentz force law, F = qv x B?
acsinuk
The formula looks fine but could you please develop it so that it accurately describes the magnoflux spin effect. CliveS

CliveS That's your job. edit but descriptions exist. Fairly simple application of kinematics using the force law. http://faculty.wwu.edu/vawter/PhysicsNet/Topics/MagneticField/FreeChargeInMF.html
ajb
The formula looks fine but could you please develop it so that it accurately describes the magnoflux spin effect. CliveS The question for you was to point out carefully where the Lorentz force breaks down and cannot explain the phenomena you describe. As you are the one proposing that standard EM theory cannot this you will need to show people carefully why.
