Gorototh Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 I don't know about you guys but this just blew my mind so hard it made me twitch in the most bizarre of ways.http://www.iflscience.com/brain/first-brain-brain-interface-could-revolutinize-neuroscienceCheck out this post and share what you think of this, dawn of a new era in neuroscience?
The_Platypus Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 This was very interesting . The more exciting of the two was the rat experiment . The implications of this particular chain of thoughts is staggering. It also makes me think ; in a telepathic society ( achieved in some scientifically consistent way) , will language be obsolete ?
Ophiolite Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 in a telepathic society ( achieved in some scientifically consistent way) , will language be obsolete ? . . . . . . . . . did you get that? Hello? ..... Hello?
MonDie Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 If I recall correctly this was the first brain-to-brain interface in 2012. http://www.nature.com/articles/srep01319 A Brain-to-Brain Interface for Real-Time Sharing of Sensorimotor Information Discussed here: http://www.scienceforums.net/topic/73287-telepathy-closer-to-becoming-reality-after-rats-brains-linked-across-continents/?hl=%2Btelepathy+%2Brats The OP's linked article cites this research. http://www.nature.com/articles/srep10767 Computing Arm Movements with a Monkey Brainet
TJ McCaustland Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 This is not good....... first goes language..... then goes privacy.... then we're all in prison because we can't control our own thoughts enough.......
