Pyruvate kinase mechanism

Featured Replies

Hi
Can someone help with this question:

Pyruvate kinase in liver cells is regulated by a mechanism that doesn't exist in muscle cells. Show (or describe) how this regulation takes place

Thanks a lot !

Are you referring to gluconeogensis?

All I remember is phosphoenolpyruvate is dephosphorylated into pyruvate. The exact regulation of PK I'm not sure.
