Q1. How does the respiratory area (total alveolae) compare with the total leaf area of a large, say oak, tree ?

Q2. How does my rate of consumption of oxygen compare with the rate of production by the said tree?

Reading online suggests that approximately 2 people could be supported per tree.

Keep in mind the rate of production/consumption is not constant for either you or your green relative.
