Peter2515
A contemporary Christian scholar with a strong background in quantum physics states some interesting theories on such matters. He suggests that the universe is really digital in that the smallest individual sub-atomic part is 1 x 10 -35 in size and at that point the particle loses locality. In effect, and he suggests this has now been proven, such particles can co-exist in a duplicate form separated by distance. Moreover, he suggests, that dark matter does indeed exist and has the same properties as normal matter so in effect space as we understand does not exist. Combining these theories and or facts, we really live in a 3 dimensional universe interconnected digitally.( I know time is another dimension and other dimensions are theorised.) This raises some interesting ideas, if these theories are true which could explain much. For instance, the notion of ESP - could it be that individuals who know each other well are 'tuned' to each other and our thoughts may release a form of energy that travels in a wave form or if you like sends its energy out in much the same way the first billiard ball hits impacts in a chain to effect the last ball in a row? Or, photons do not actually travel, but pass on their energy to adjacent photons in some similar way. If it is simultaneous, then time for the 'movement' of that photon would not be relevant. Strange
Moreover, he suggests, that dark matter does indeed exist and has the same properties as normal matter If dark matter had the same properties as normal matter then it wouldn't be "dark". so in effect space as we understand does not exist. That appears to be a non-sequitur. Edited September 7, 2015 by Strange
Strange
A contemporary Christian scholar with a strong background in quantum physics states some interesting theories on such matters. Who is he/she? Why do you mention the fact they are Christian? Where is this work published? Are these theories or just speculation?

Strange
Perhaps Peter has been reading an article by John Polkinghorne, it sounds like his point of view. Maybe. I don't know anything much about Polkinghorne, but the only comments about dark matter I could find were where he confirmed it does not behave like normal matter. For instance, the notion of ESP - could it be that individuals who know each other well are 'tuned' to each other and our thoughts may release a form of energy that travels in a wave form or if you like sends its energy out in much the same way the first billiard ball hits impacts in a chain to effect the last ball in a row? Firstly, there is no evidence that ESP exists. Secondly, there is no evidence that this mysterious energy exists. What sort of energy is this? Does this also explain why unicorns are invisible?
